Mid Feb weather conditions

Hey guys,

Sorry for so many questions. I was wondering if anyone could let me know how long the winters tend to last in Boston, MA.
My car will not be arriving till mid/end of Feb so I am now wondering if I should mount winter tires or if I could get away with "all seasons" since the car will arrive towards the end of winter?

Please let me know what you guys think as you are all the experts out there!

Thanks!

It's safe snow wise around the end of March... We've had April freak storms but they are rare..

However, April to May is pothole time.. you might wanna keep your sh1tty rims on for a little bit longer because this is when the roads are at it's worst...

winter doesn't end until June. At least that's how it feels sometimes.

if you are hesitating to buy snow tires right now then be prepared to keep it parked till end of April. Weather changes a lot here within hrs. If you are lucky there might be no snow after Feb at all and you should be fine with al seasons. I got my car in feb with winter tires this feb and there was no snow since delivery but I preferred to keep winters till temp>45 when OEM tires could do their job.

Yep. Between the winter itself, potholes in April/May, and sand/salt on the roads until June, it's rough. June till October/early November is great, but enjoy that time because the winters are long.

Thanks for the input guys,

I think that the safest way is just to get snow tires mounted.
Happy holidays everyone.
