KW V1 you cannot adjust dampening of the struts, the V2 you can... Basically if you get the V1 and the ride feels too stiff to you, then ur screwed, that's how it's gonna ride...the V2 you can adjust to make it smoother, less stiff..

Not quite sure what you are asking, there is no factory recommended setting...you will be setting it however you want, stiff ride, or soft ride...how ever you are comfortable with it...this is on the V2 The V1 comes with a permanent setting...so it depends on what you think of it... U should spend a little more to get the V2, so you can adjust the way it rides if ur not happy...

Yesterday, I had my summer wheels put back on, and the local shop had some KW's on display. I asked how much a V2 set up would cost and with using a VAT form (not paying the 19% tax) it was just over a 1000 euros and then another 150 euros for an install.
I am seriously thinking about doing this in the next few weeks. The application catalog did say that running a spacer in the back is recommended, which for me really isnt a big deal since I planned on getting some 15mm spacers anyways. |

n1smo,
The place is called Reifen Gundacker, address is Hauptstr 21-23, Hochspeyer. Its about 10 minutes east of Kaiserslautern. They advertise in the base newspaper and were extremely busy the few times I have been there, so you will definately need to make an appt if you plan on getting any work done there. The price was retail straight out of the KW catalog, so I'm sure you could get it for that price anytime. Let me know if you need anymore info. Scott |
