I'm 22 I have e90 328 , bought it all my self I am doing finance, everyone asks that if you are young don't you have school and you need a job, yes I have school and two jobs, you have to pay to play =)

Anyone can have nice things, just depends how you want to spend your money and how hard you are willing to work. When I drive this car it's all worth it to me, although I regret not buying a 5 or 7... will be next!!

I hate these age threads...aweful and stupid. A bunch of spoiled kids saying how they own 40k cars and a bunch of older people saying I drove my dads 57 chevy in 1992 as my first car.

It's the same thing every time...

+100,000,000

Then again that's how I got my car so cheap as a CPO. They're done with it and they just take it back. My car sat on the lot for 3 months after a 2 yr lease.

In America, gas is realitivelly cheap, insurance+taxes are super cheap (Compared to Europe) and in general, people can buy a slightly used 330/325i for the price of a new GTI or A3, both of which retail for 20-30k. Also, in general, many people have more excess capital to spend on their kids and such. As why they prefer Bimmers to Mercedes and Audi, in general they're a luxury brand, plus they're very sport and youth oriented, more so than Mercedes at least.

Also, big American trucks and such, which if applied to European prices would be very expensive, really aren't that expensive at all, as they're built in the US.

Hopefully this kind of answers your question.
