My paint?
I have the Sapphire Black Metallic paint on my E90 and it looks awesome under day light but when i go under artificial lighting some of the panels go a slight gray is this normal? As its most noticeable on the drivers side door.

Could possibly be swirl marks/marring dulling the clear coat? This happens from automatic car washes and improper hand washing techniques.

No its not that as i never take it in a car wash and have very good detailing skills I'm thinking its something to do with the way that panel has been painted. its very strange as only some panels do it a times e.g one door and bonnet then a different angel its different panels?
