voice commands stop working

i just got my car back from the dealer they installed sirius radio and updated the nav and idrive computer and now i thought everything was working great until today when i was curious to see if voice commands still worked and i hit the button and nothing, worked before but not now...maybe there is a setting i am missing?? anyway looks like i am heading back to dealer at lunch time

Any updates with this? Voice commands haven't worked at all since I bought my car back in May. I push the steering wheel button or the one next to the idrive controller and nothing ever happens.

If they upgraded the CCC firmware, then the newer firmware probably requires an FSC code to enable the voice control. They should have a DVD with all the needed FSC codes for every vehicle VIN that needs them. Take it back and complain.

Obviously it should be fixed for free by the dealer.I had Sirius installed on my "d" and everything's worked fine since.Although,on second thought,the response times for voice commands seem to be kind of long at times.At most that's a minor annoyance to me.

My local dealer recently upgraded my software now my voice command and Navigation has no voice guidance

need to take back to dealer again.
