but otherwise I just rip them from youtube using a youtube flv to mp3 converter

youtube downloads can be good quality if you can find a good quality video, and the ones that the artists themselves put up are always high quality

iTunes, best quality, not worth all the hassle re-titling the songs, getting album artwork and etc. I am a anal person, I need my music to have the exact title, organized with album artwork. Also support the artists.
Back when I was 12-15 and had no money, I used limewire no problem.

I pay $20.00 a month for newsgroup access with 370 day retention. Full download speed at any time and you can get a LOT more than music from there if you're tech inclined
