Agel Eyes problems

Hi Beemers. I have a problem with my right angel eye rings. They do not light and I'm getting a bulb warning on my OBC. I then went to Ferreira Broers BMW in Lichtenburg and they said it is a unit problem and they will replace it for R800. Can I fix this problem myself or less cheaper.

They did not tell me what "unit" it is. Can it be the bulbs(rings) themselves? Do the angel eyes have an electronic unit that can be damaged? Is it possible to replace the rings?

sounds like the angel eye bulb. You can get replacement bulbs from places like Zeemax or Excede performance.

WOOOOO. Im so happy today. I have finally replaced my right side angel eye bulb, and guess what? I DID MYSELF. I bought the bulb unit at BMW for R550 and did the magic. You can aks me how to do it if you have problems. IT IS VERY EASY

I agree its easy and def. worth it compared to what BMW charges. I removed my old HID xenon bulb today to see how hard it is. Not hard at all. Will replace as soon as I get my new bulbs. See here for the crazy prices BMWs in Gauteng quoted me: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=415268
