OEM Alarm
Hey guys, I recently installed the factory E90 alarm on my car and I just have a few questions. I had the alarm activated by EAS but the panic button doesn't seem to work, does this have to do with the way the alarm is programmed? Also, the lock/unlock chirp is very quiet and I was wondering if there is anyway to fix that.
Any input would be appreciated, thanks! |

I had the same issue with mine. I don't know why it is, but I was able to fix mine by writing a default coding profile to the DWAI module by coding with NCSExpert using a profile that did NOT use FSW_PSW manipulation. If you had a cable, we could compare trace files and see what's different. Perhaps EAS would code yours to default if you asked them kindly (I can email my trace files if needed).

Which is the panic button on our cars? It's holding the trunk button right?
