so I was driving in I-5 at about 4ish (traffic jam!), then I saw this old "AUDI A4" yes, it's A4, not S4. and look at his plate! I8ABMW. too bad it was traffic jam...

too bad OP didn't get a picture of the exhaust pipe. It would have been a dead give away as to whether or not it's an S4. Some people... just because you debadge (or rebadge) a car, it doesn't mean you are fooling the car enthusiasts. I smoked a 996 "GT3" four years ago with my 240SX on I-90. When we pulled off to West Lk Sammamish, I got up next to him, rolled down the window and asked "This isn't a real GT3, is it?" He said I was just jealous of his Porsche. Some people.

yeah, it was traffic jam.. so it's hard to get a good picture..

but it's an A4 for sure, V6 and dual exhaust.

Ha Ha. Thats funny. It mush have eaten a e36 318i. I really don't like that style of A4, the windshield is to small and if your over 6'2" it is super uncomfortable to sit in...

haha. The V6 A4's suck.... at least there are tubo kits for the 1.8/2.0T motors. I think the V6 is in that unhappy place where the people looking for a cheap tunable car won't get it and the people who want something already fun go with the S4.

It could be worse, there's a guy with an A4 and an //M badge driving around here. I'll try to get a picture of him sometime.
