MP3 cd playback (navi pro)

Dear,

Just got my new car and so far, love it :-)
Handling and driving is really fantastic.

However playing MP3's doesn't seem to work out for me.
I used a 80min cd (700Mb), closed my session, used standard ISO format. I can read the files on my computer, all of them are placed under the root of the cd (no directory structure). However when I insert the cd, nothing happens. I cannot select "CD" via the Idrive, it stays grayed out.

Maybe some tips? Since it is a 2007 model car, I guess the former problems of no playback in the pro navi are gone.

For me, the disks I wrote with higher speeds are ejected every once in a while (especially when cold and at startup time). Maybe you should try to write another at a slower speed or another brand of blanks. I don't have navi, though, so the drive is a CD-drive, not a DVD-drive as yours.

BTW, do you have the CD-changer option? I seem to recall that you _have_ to have CD-changer for MP3 to work in any drive if you have navi.

try placing the files into a directory. that worked for me. I have an 07 build and mp3 cd/dvds work fine for me and i dont have cd changer as mentioned above. Try burning another cd but this time placing the files in a folder.
