Weird iPod Disconnect Issue

So, when I plug my iPod into my stereo all is great. The unit detects it and I can browse all my music etc. However, if I leave the car overnight for example, the next morning it doesn't recognize the iPod. I have to manually disconnect the iPod, then plug it back in, and all works.

Anyone else feeling this? Any work around?

Mine does that as well - and there are a few others on here that have experienced a similar problem. I did read in one of the threads that the dealer replaced the cable and the problem went away.

Which cable? The 2 inch cable that connects to the iPod?

Well I have the 6fl. So in that case the cable is a bit more complicated. But try another cable anyway...that may narrow down what the issue is.
