New Battery dead after 2 weeks
Long story short
Brand new OEM Bosch Battery died today after 2 weeks. When u insert the key bells and lights come on as in normal but when u try to start the car will just go dark for 45 seconds and then everything will re introduce it self as in pre ignition press of start button. Did a bit of search on here and I was glad I didn't sold my BT tool after I traded my JB 3 for the procede. Steps are as follow: Plug bt tool. Engine module Commands Battery reset Send Did that and the car started right up. Drove it around for my chores today and every time I got back in the car it started up right away. Thank u E90post for saving me $230.00 for a dealer battery reset. (Price as quoted by SA) Off I go...830pm deadheading to LGA for a Toronto turn on the 1st at 930 am.....Ohhhhhh yeah, the wife loves my guts. Cheers, Happy New Year Everyone.

Airline pilot 2 Beastly energetic children - any proper "me" time to devote to what my Procede really has to offer. So, with the Procede then. How would one reset the Battery? Thx. I

I can't wait to see the Northeast I was lucky enough to be based out of DFW for the month of December. Got the full month of Jan out of La Guardia and then on the 31st my dreams are coming true....I got the Miami Base, no more fly commute to work...1:10 min drive on the turnpike from West Palm Beach .

sure doesnt seem like it.
battery reset- pull negative cable off of battery for 10 minutes. battery registration- telling car you replaced the battery. two completely different things. |

Quoted $230 for registration? Wow. I was quoted $168 and when I brought it in last week, it ended up being $106. Glad you didn't have to shell out money for it to get done. My sa said batteries don't last more than 3 weeks without registration. I guess he wasn't bullshitting.
