Arrow Dtec e90 Pre-LCI Angel Eye Review

First of all, I would like to thank Derrick@e92lighting for hooking me up this awesome set of error-free angel eyes for the e90, I've always had a hard time finding a good set of angel eyes for the pre-lci that is pretty bright and these seem to be it. The angel eyes itself are definitely made of high quality construction with an all aluminum body, the color is super white (7500k) and utilizes 4 LEDS (2 per AE) total and an all aluminum construction heat sink.

The color is slightly whiter than the Racing Dash angel eyes and is brighter as well, here are some daylight afternoon pictures of the AEs with a slight overcast.

Here are the actual product themselves, which are packaged very nicely in a matte finish box and cradled so it won't move while in the box.

Overall, I'm satisfied with how the product perform for how much it costs, very high quality and threw no codes whatsoever. Definitely worth it!

Very nice, looks like the old MyCarr Units. These had reliability problems so I am interested to see if this has been solved.

we dont carry MyCarr Ice products because it has "known" door ajar issues, all DTEC's are error free or i will offer a full refund of purchase price

Yup, that was part of the problem with the MyCarr units. However, the other issue is that the LEDs failed over time. These seem to have similar LEDs so will be interested to see if the problem has been fixed.

get the mtec v3 from e92 lighting, you dont need to change your d1s bulbs for it as they are a good match for oem headlights. Might want to change the fogs although not sure which color. I didn't bother since I don't turn on my fogs ever lol.

i def want to change my stock d1s xenons to more of a 6000K though. But i see the dtec's are rated at 7000K and mtecs are rated at 7500K

just want to try to get the best set up from the start.
