HFPF Issues/Recall for N54 in HK?

Hey guys, my friend's family has an 2007(or 2008?) E93 335i, they were wondering whether the recall for US/Canada also applies to HK?

Has anyone experience any major problems for HFPF in HK?

At least not for my case. They told me the fault doesn't affect Hong Kong and Macau vehicles.

Before I have talked to them about this issue around the year 2009, they told me they NEVER heard about this issue before, non-even has any HFPF got failure in HK, after several peoples have sent back to BMW for repairing, which these peoples are who I knew too, they have told another story which is belonged to "JUST A FEW's" cases.
