Question E90 BMW Performance Bumper Questions

I have a non-LCI 2006 E90 and Tischer offers a non-LCI version BMW Performance front bumper for the E90:

1) Tischer states that a Cold Air Pack to the brakes is required for installation of the front bumper. Is it really necessary? Please advise.

2) The installation of this bumper on an E90 requires a foglight delete. How is this done? Is it simply a disconnect? Is a reflash necessary to prevent error codes?

Thanks for your help!

as far as the cold air pack, i beleive its not necessary but you will just have empty space there instead.
and the fog light delete. you just tape or tie the bulb to somewhere.

no, as long as you leave the bulb in the harness/socket and just tape it up somewhere, you'll be fine

If I leave the bulb in the harness/socket, does that mean the bulb will be exposed? (risking shattering)

Thanks!
