I called my patient "honey" today

...and it's all BMW's fault. Or perhaps Palm's.

I recently updated Progman to 25.00.03 and upgraded my Treo 650 to the Treo 700wx. While driving, I received an incoming call and the Navi screen displayed a number I recognized as my g/f's home phone. So I answered, "Hi Honey!" It turned out to be a patient of mine.

This is the second time I've noticed the Bimmer's display number to be different than what appears on the Palm Treo.

ahahah sorry to hear.

But atleast, I can share in your humility.

I use a blackberry pearl. There are two letters per key. For example, key #1 can be E, R, or even 1. Commonly misspelled words are Get and Hey, Ray and Eat, they all use the same keys and the blackberry software will default to the one most commonly used, but sometimes you want the verse. But anyway, you get the point of the mix up.

Anyway, my coworker's bf is named Armen. We were organizing an after work dinner, and I said, "hey, invite xxx, Armen isn't around, so she'll be available to hang out".

All good intentions, except Armen on a blackberry defaults to "Semen"...

You should've seen my face when my other co workers emailed me back telling me what I had just done!

After a slight pause, her reply was, "uh, this is <her name>." She used to work for one of my nurses, so I know her well. We both had a good laugh.

I have a Treo 700wx and I've had the same thing happen a few times. I've learned to check the phone first before answering so I know who's calling.

Not sure if it's a BMW or Palm/Verizon thing.

thats happened to me as well, well not exactly. But, if you remove the bluetooth device and then add it again it'l fix the issue.
