well I installed my CM- N10 nozzel and what a difference! I'm seeing 15-16 on the logs now and the car pulls like crazy now. Thanks for the advice to go up to the N10 Nozzel!

I'm in no rush, I got the meth kit a long time ago and i think ever since day 1 that failsafe unit was busted. Spent a lot of time quadroople-checking wiring and such... the only thing left is the fail safe. I'll call sometime in the middle of january after everyone is back to the daily grind

Looks like I'm also victim to the failed Failsafe problem. I'll contact LaBonte to return it, but want to know has anyone who has also had this problem received an updated/working Failsafe yet or is everyone still waiting on a solution?

I got a SnowPerformance failsafe, works great so far on high meth concentrations so far. Going on week 4. If it holds up for two months I'll deem it good to go!

themyst do you have the SnowPerformance failsafe working with Procede? The voltages are different right? 1.5V and 5V.

Thanks,

A.

I don't feel like typing out the specifics again look at the v5 ignition advance update thread a page back. It works fine.

1100 ml should get you a reading of 21-22.
However you will loose some flow as it looses pressure.

Things that affect pressure:
line lenght
Check valve
Solendoid
overcoming actual boost pressure at the injection point. So I would say you should be hoping for something along the lines of 18-19 if your system is actually set up to flow 1100ml.

How did you come with 1100ml to begin with?
Finally got the chance to test my flow with the labonte/proceed. Its actually reading a max of 14 which is quite weird since i should be flowing like 1100 ml/min with the nozzles and pump i got .
when meth is not activated is reading 0 .
So if i calculate right the flow i have now is 700 ml/min?

Pump Pressure?
Check Valve or solenoid?
Nozzle size?

175 psi = 1.322
200 psi = 1.414
225 psi = 1.500
250 psi = 1.581

So my do12 flows 756 Ml/min @ 100 PSI

You need to subtract for boost and the check valve. I am also at 200 PSI.

200-17(PSI)- 22(PSI Checkvalve) = 161 or 1.27 ISH AKA 960 Ml/Min (in theory).

That is your theoretical pressure, use that formula.

from my calculations should be 1100 ml/min but without taking into account the pressure loss.

See the edit, I imagine those nozzles are rated at 100 PSI, and since you run 220PSI you simply cant multiply x 2.2.
I think you should be flowing about 840/ml min with a 20 psi of boost. Since there is a T and dual nozzle you might be losing a touch more as well.

So it doesnt sound like the labonte unit is that far off if at all.

The problem is as the nozzle increases the meth pumps can not keep up pressure as well. I actually heard of one customer running two meth pumps in series to keep the pressure close to 200psi on dual nozzles. When you go beyond the basic setup you really must manually check flow as you are doing now or use a well calibrated flow sensor.

ok thanks guys. I will set the progressive meth into the procede to 12 than since max is 14.
Maybe i should order a bigger nozzle and run 2x375 ml/min

actually those nozzles are rated at 60 psi. how much does a solenoid produce in pressure loss?

FWIW, I see 18 on my single CM10 nozzle on my Snow Performance flow sensor + solenoid. That equates to around 900 ml/min.
