Left Driver Headlight is higher than Passenger side???

I have stock adaptive Xeons on my E90 330i, and I noticed that my left headlight seems higher than the right side?? Is this a normal thing to happen?? Would appreciate if someone could help out such a newbie question… Thanks : )

Definitely not normal. Although my right headlight is a little higher than the left, but not as extreme as the difference between your headlights. I took my car to the dealership to get the this difference in "level-ness" checked out and they said that's how its supposed to be.

The headlight on the side of the car opposite oncoming traffic is always set a little higher. This is done to help illuminate the side of the road for safety and not too blind the oncoming traffic at the same time.

This is by design. BMW engineers' philosophy is have the driver side shine slightly lower so as to not blind oncoming drivers in traffic opposite you. Pretty good idea

Ahh, you're not looking at what his situation is. He has the exact opposite from what you are describing. In the normal case, the Right side would be higher than the Left. In this case, the Right side is higher.

OP, are you sure you are on FLAT and LEVEL ground or the house isn't on a slant in relation to the car? I assume not and you probably just need an adjustment done by the dealer.

Not what's happening in this situation. On ALL Left hand Drive cars, the Right (Passenger) side lights are higher and shine further ahead than the Left (Driver) side. In the case, it's the RIGHT side pointing higher than the LEFT. Definitely NOT normal or correct.
