lci smoked taillights

ive been wanting to smoke my taillights for my lci but alot of my friends say smoking the taillights for the lci is wrong?
i dont get it
and if i wanted to smoke my taillights where would i go?

We offer precut smoked lens film for your tails, just need to clean off the area and apply
