18" or 19" wheel
So im selling my wheels currently and looking for a new set up once they are gone. It may seem like a dumb question but just how different is the appearance of a 19" and 18"? I am trying to get bbs ch blacks and im hesitating because they are 18". Would the different in size change the overall look?Input would be greatly appreciated

To me 18" rims are perfectly fine because I accept the looks as a trade off for other benefits. If you can get the wheels at the right price and they will fit well on your car, then maybe you will be happy too.
The BBS CH is a fairly complex design with a lot of spokes, so I expect the difference between 18" and 19" will be quite noticable (at least as much as other styles). On the positive side, 18" rims make the size of the brake discs look a bit bigger if you are not going to get a big brake kit. |

Its all going to boil down to what you prefer to look at everyday... Most members on this board prefer 19's for the E9x body.
Depending on what you'll be doing with the car and the environment you have to work with, 18's are also a great route to go. -Charles@VMRWheels

I personally think 18s look a bit to small for the e9x. but logically the 18s would make so much more sense to buy living in socal. You wouldnt be as paranoid about potholes and rought roads since your tires would have a higher profile. I think the m3s 18s looks awesome, I have a feeling the chs might look as good. Give it a try, if your dont like it i dont think it would be hard to sell.
