Will 2009 front bunper fit on a 2007?

Hello,

I have a 2007 328xi coupe. I bought an OEM front bumper here on E90 post from a 2009 335i coupe. The dealer is telling me he tried to install the 2009 bumper but it would not fit?!?! Any reason why this is?! Is there an adapter I can buy?!? I thought 2007 thru 2009 were same ... ?

Same bumper... no reason it shouldn't fit.

+1 i would think it would fit too, what was the issue with the bumper not fitting?

I have a friends couzin who works at the dealership, said he would have his service guys do it for cheap. I think they just didnt want to do it, either way. They said "the bumper is not fitting with my headlights". Bunch of BS..Whatever, I am taking to another body shop to have it done. Thanks guys, I knew I wasnt crazy.

If you do it yourself. You learn, have fun and can put that money towards the paint job if it needs to be painted.

You guys are right, I printed the DIY instructions from this site and all back when I bought the bumper over 1 year ago and planned on doing it my self..Never got around to it. Living downtown in Chicago doesn't afford me the environment or time to do it myself..Found a body shop who will put it on for 150. Lame, I know..
