the bronze and AW could be a pretty cool match.

I will have too agree. Satin bronze is a nice contrast and contemporary color. I'm thinking of painting this color on my BBS RSGT diamond black wheel centers.

If you are going to powdercoat OEM wheels, do you need to sandblast them first?

I saw a picture of satin bronze wheels on the forum and while the wheel looked good, in my opinion it didn't look good on the black car it was mounted on.

Me (and a couple of others) have gone with gloss black on 193Ms. Personally I rather like it, but many don't feel it at all. You do lose the detail when looking at it from far, but one of my mates described it as "inviting you closer to take a look." Given a few days, they end up looking like a matte black. A few more days and it gets a bit more grey-ish, and given even more time the dirt really builds up and the wheels start to look bronze. Amazingly, the wheels look clean even when really dirty (and bronze looking).
