It's Back... Pure Euro T.G.I.S. Cruise #6! (Sunday, Jan 23rd, Calabasas-Malibu)

All Euros Encouraged To Come!

To celebrate the weather we've been blessed with, we figured we'd take a chance to rub it in the face of those digging themselves out from under several feet of snow! So come one, come all (Euros, that is) on this special Winter-Edition of Pure Euro's TGIS (Thank God It's Sunday)...

Date: 1/23/11
Time: Meet at AC Stelle in Calabasas no later than 11am, begin to arrive at 10:30am.

This is the lot we'll be meeting in:

From there, we will head out for some light canyon-driving.. Speed-limits WILL be obeyed... It is a Sunday in the Malibu hills and the sheriffs will be out with a 0 tolerance. We'll cruise down P.C.H. to Neptune's Net for some lunch... the total route is ~ 35 miles and should take us just about an hour.

After lunch, we'll head back in to the hills for some more driving and stop at a couple points for some picture-taking. Weather is expected to be ~ 70 degrees in Malibu so it should make for a great day with good people and nice cars (but bring a light jacket or a sweatshirt).

To be clear, this is NOT a "canyon run". If you're looking for aggressive driving, this isn't the place for you... This is a CRUISE.

Tomorrow's the day... Please arrive - ON TIME - and it's advisable that you fill your tank on your way to the rendezvous location... Even if you have enough gas to get to Neptune's Net, there aren't any gas stations around Neptune's Net and the ones that are will be very expensive. From the RSVPs on the Facebook page, it looks like we're expecting a big group so it's more important than ever to be on our be smart. One mistake can not only ruin your day, but can ruin the day of 50+ other people so live by our motto for cruises... "DON'T BE THAT GUY"
