If you go with a more "gold" color, not as "yellow" as what you photoshopped it would look good.

Maybe do the lips a flat black also

I think the Gold is too bright. A darker JDM style bronze colour could be ok depending on the wheel style - Maybe not on the linea corse ones.

I have decided to not move forward with gold. It's just not gonna work, thanks for everyone's input.

I would not do that it loos out of place in my opinion (if you do it be sure to keep the stock wheels for later re-sale of the car). Just my 2 cents.
