Iphone and IPOD OUT

OK. So by now I am sure most have heard that IOS4 includes an IPOD OUT that allows our BMW stereos to connect and control our Iphones using the Apple interface. This is great if you have iDrive as illustrated in the Youtube video. I have a Iphone 3GS 4.2 and no iDrive 09 328. Will this IPOD OUT be the solution to connecting my iphone to my car FINALLLY??

Well, I think you answered your own question didn't you. This is for cars with i-Drive (and actually for cars from March 2011/April 2011 production only.

this...it's part of the combox. bmwretrofit and patrys(vendors on this forum) are actually selling them for retrofit projects
