Can the Ipod accessory be added in the 335i sedan after it's in production?
Hey guys!
Was wondering if anybody with the 335i sedan has added the Ipod accessory after the production date or after they have gotten the car. My CA told me that it was not possible for them to install the Ipod accessory after I get the car and that it was too late to add it in the production. Can anybody verify if this is true? I really want to be able to control my Ipod through the steering wheel and through the I-drive. Thanks again for your help! Love this forum! Can't wait to see your cars at the meets! :rocks: |

True. Can't be added at the dealer, and can't be added when the car is currently in production. Sorry.

I am thinking that eventually it will be a dealer installed option, but I bet it will be very, very expensive. Probably cost prohibitive.

The dealer installed kit is still being offered and should work on post-March cars. It does replace the CD Changer, however. If your car hasn't gone into production, the 6FL option is superior, however.
