So I've had an intermittent GPS issue since 350 miles. Wasn't too concerned about it but it froze hard awhile back and no amount of re-setting it made any difference.

Well I took the car in on Tuesday to get the GPS fixed, ipod integration installed, and had em' throw on some wheel locks while we were at it. I get a call late Tuesday letting me know that they should have it done for me late Wednesday, and that they are updating software and it takes a good deal of time.

So Wednesday I get a call and they say that "GPS is Working fine and they cannot find anything wrong with it, but my car is ready. I'm thinking.... Hmm, OK so WTF? I get down there and sure enough, the write up says

"Customer has concern about GPS functionality, Unable to confirm problem"...

I'm like SonofA... I asked for the service Manager who was really cool and I explained that their lead tech had me make the appointment after he couldn't get the GPS unfrozen last time I was down here. So it's not "Unconfirmed", but in fact had already been looked at and was the entire reason I had made the appointment.

Anyhoo, I get in my car a head home, the Service manager said, "He'd Look into it."

First thing this AM, I get a call from the Service Manager and there is in fact a bulletin or something about this very thing.

So, I'll be going back again, and they will be replacing the "Control Unit?" I think he said, and new software again.

SO, Long story short, they are taking care of me and I'm a very happy camper.

I didn't care for the Dodge Charger Rental they provided, but hell, it's better treatment than I had expected, and I am not going to bitch.

Over all a so far.

Ipod integration.... Good enough.
