can't get car alarm on my march prod. e92?!!?!
so some of you may have read my earlier post about the quote i got from my dealer, saying it could take up to 24 hours to reflash my car..which is required if you get an alarm installed with iDrive.
so i dropped it off this morning, to find out this afternoon they don't have the latest software which is required to install a car alarm on march production e92s (maybe 9*). what a waste of driving back and forth to the dealer. i even had them verify this before i arrived, and they said "no problem, we do alarms all the time". i didn't make a big stink, just didn't refill the loaner with gas. they washed my car too (not sure if thats a good thing or bad...swirls???) thanks for letting me vent. comments?

Sorry to hear about the delay. Just courious, I missed your earlier posts since I'm new here, how much did they quote you for the alarm and to do the install ? Is the car prewired for it ?
