I recently replaced the digits of my 335i with gloss black and they look great! I first heated the digits with a hairdryer, then i used a credit card to slide in the digits, prying them off; since they were already heated, it was easy to get them off. Then, I used goo gone/water/soap to clean the surface and applied the new digits.

1-take off the #'s and just leave the "d" 2-replace with subdued badging as I LOATH chrome accents IMO the only thing shiny sparkly should be the 2" lip of the rims. Gotta get rid of that shiny grill asap. 3-remove badge, and replace with a small black bull silhouette as an homage to Spain, where I fell in love with the 335d Besides, everyone knows the sticker/HP gain ONLY works on Civics and Eclipses |

OP, congrats on the D. I had one as a loaner and I absolutely loved it!!! I dont know if leaving the "d" on would look good though, I would find some numbers off a few other models and do a "36 dd" !!!!! That would be funny as hell! (especially if your significant other had 36dd's, or it would suck if she had 'a' cups...lol)
