From what I've heard...if you are the same owner with a different car, he'll get you unlocked for no charge.

I'd e-mail him rather than starting a thread. shiv@vishnutuning.com

Trust me, I've learned my lesson about emailing him or sending messages, I know they're busy but I rarely got a responses in a timely manner.

I am not an advocate of starting frivolous threads but I'm hoping he could give me a quick response so I can get my Procede working again.

Have you tried loading the V4 firmware and maps... Then move back to V5?

You may need the 4.20 user software as well.

That's actually a pretty good idea, I forgot I could go back to the V4 version and load all those maps for free. I just was anxious to try all the new beta maps with everyone raving about the quality and power.

I've seen threads started for less, perhaps when other people will need to have their vins unlocked down the road as more v5s end up on the resale market they can use this as a reference for what to do.

OP- you'll need to email sales@vishnutuning.com. As a courtesy, we can reset your VIN lock but we will need additional info.

That is fine, I already sent the email before I started this thread. Also, here is the link to my accident thread for proof that my car was in an accident and totaled.

I was surprised, but the instant the airbags go off the adjuster said that you need to add about 6-8k right away to the estimate. Also, the tire took the blunt for impact and that would have most likely caused extensive transmission and suspension problems.

They were very close to the value of fixing vs totaling and I was able to work some magic for a total loss.

Also, I wonder if my old turbos were shot, they whistled so much more than my current 335 running the v4, oh well.
