so... i installed some mtec v3 bulbs in my pre-lci e90 today but they won't turn on.. When I unlock the car, they usually turn on but sometimes they don't.. and they won't turn on at all when the car is running - i have no idea what the problem could be.. anyone have any ideas?

As I installed them myself, I'm pretty sure this isn't the issue, but I'll keep that in mind when I check again tomorrow morning..

Thanks for your input though!

Anyone else?

Lightbulb

It sounds like the contacts were plugged in backwards. Go back to the unit and swap the +/- wiring around. This will resolve the issue.

Did you resolve your problem?

I have just bought MTEC V3 too and I am interested.

Can you post (or send me trough PM) photos of your bulbs so that I can compare with mines?
