Run Flats VS Non Run Flats
Can you direct me to the post on this forum for the UK?
I am sure there will be one. Had my Conv with 19s 3 weeks already got a £300 bill for a tyre... thinking of plunging now and spending the £1000 to replace them all with non run flats - I am trying to work out the economy vs hassle - Of a. Buying run flat insurance - IE £300 for my tyre today and £350 for insurance b. Spending £300 more and getting all new tyres that are allegedly better. I noted some forums hating the run flats and to be fair I tend to agree... BUT these ones AT THIS STAGE are not noisy, yes they bang about a bit, but seem OK. I wonder if BMW have improved the run flats over the years....OR I will realise the noise and hidouesness when the tyres have worn a bit... I have lots of tread - these tyres are new ish. |
