What makes you think this?
Air to air is superior for most street-driven applications. OEMs will typically use AWIC when packaging is a constraint, such as in the ZR-1 Corvette. On a drag strip AWIC can also be of great benefit when the time the the liquid is exposed to heat is minimal and the liquid can be cooled far below ambient air temperature. In general AWIC is more complexity and weight than it is worth. |
