I think my iDrive has crashed... (M6)

I had exactly the same problem with my iDrive. Took two weeks to fix (replacement CCC) and it still occasionally does it.

"We updated the software but it wouldnt boot"
"The amplifier is throwing a code so we replaced it, but it still wont boot"
"we replaced ""a"" computer, and it wont boot, we still dont know whats wrong"

Who needs Idrive when you can just stare at the remainder of that glorious dash board. I'm not as needy as some who would actually need to listen to the engine. I could simply stare at the carbon and leather for hours.

Sorry to hear about the crashed drive. Beautiful interior though.

We got an 07 X3 3.0is with 200 miles on it, but... I got another update, the part had to be ordered from Germany... so more wiat.
