Exclamation My stock amp died for a SECOND time, can I go aftermarket?

Hey guys... I'm furious right now, my stock amp has died for a second time. The first time it was covered under warranty but now I'm out of warranty... I have the logic7 system (and iDrive), simply put can I get an aftermarket unit for cheaper or am I forced to be raped by the price of the stock amp replacement?

I found this DIY... but it isn't for a logic7 car........

Any solution will be useless until you either replace that dead Logic7 amp or code your OEM HU/iDrive to output analog -if they can be coded at all.

yes... that is my question. Can I get an aftermarket amp to replace the shit stock one with. And if so what else is needed to make it work. I don't need anything special, I just want it to work.

You can try either this... http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=451145 or buying this... http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=402574

None of the possible solutions is going to be easy or inexpensive.

Whatever you do, you need to find out the root of this recurring dead OEM amp problem. This is not normal at all.
