N54 tune + BMS DCI + hot weather = upgraded FMIC?

Wanted to get everyone's take on this...

I'm running the Dinan Stage 2 tune (yes, I know its not the greatest but it seemed like a good idea 2 years ago) on an N54 with the BMS DCI and the BMW PE. I live in the midwest and the summers here tend to get hot and humid... so the question is, with the combination of higher boost, DCI and hot weather.... should I be considering upgrading the FMIC to keep the IATs down?

Also, has anyone had any legitimate warranty issues going in with an upgraded FMIC?

Thanks in advance for your opinions!

Yes, an FMIC is required. I would get rid of the DCI during summer though.

the heat will make the car feel like a 99 civic. Youll need a FMIC or meth to compensate for the weather.

Once you upgrade your FMIC, the increased intake temps from the DCI shouldn't be an issue post-intercooler, which means you can enjoy the full benefit of the unrestricted airflow.

In one test, it has been documented that a CAI produces about 11 degrees Fahrenheit (or 3 Celsius) colder IATs compared to a DCI, even using a big aftermarket intercooler. This si pretty significant for performance.
