anyone tried the belkin ipod auto kit?

I'm wondering if it fits in the center console in the e92 or e90 with being able to close the lid.

It fits perfectly. However, the Belkin cable has a pre-amp which does detract from the sound quality. I would recommend the monster low profile charger which has no pre-amp and hence allows you to gat a proper line out signal.

You will also need a 3.5mm male to male audio cable.

fm sucks...use a direct audio cable out of the dock connector. This will not charge but the sound quality is exceptional, it sounds as good as the original CD.

trust me, this sounds 2-3 times better than any other option

Thanks, yes I definitely want to do a line level signal, was confused about the belkin since on surface it looks like it is but the volume feature threw me.
