I was originally going to spray mine but if the trim is only this $380 I was thinking I should just buy it and put it on myself.

I'm pretty sure members here have bought and installed themselves. I personally don't know how hard the process is of swapping the trim out but I don't think its rocket science.

Installing is usually the easy part, its taking it off without bending it, but if you got all new stuff it doesn't seem like a bad idea. I say go for it.

You can get it sprayed with metal spray paint. I have seen members do it on this site. after paying my buddies bodyshop to do it it just might be morecost effective to buy this instead.

Oh come on... You can't hurt anything if you tape it off. Get some cajones (virtual or otherwise) and go for it!

I am in the middle of vinyling the interior of my car right now. I got two pieces done so far and I am going to finish it up probably tonight. The vinyl is sooooo easy to work with that I might just go ahead and do the outside of the trim also with matte black.

I didn't get it done. I will ask him what he will charge me. I just meant after he does it and I have to pay him it would be as much as buying this instead.
