Question Warning lights

Is it my car's electrics? It is the second time over the past couple of months that my engine lights came on. After I restart the car, the car works normally again. Brought it to workshop and plug in to see any default warnings, none registered. Very puzzling!

Hmm... if there is no hint from the ECU check, there is nothing you can really do. However a couple of things you can look at:

1. any change in usage/driving habits recently?
2. when is the last time you change engine oil?
3. you may change to another gas station (or totally another shop just in case your engine is sensitive to the addictives)
4. anything wrong with the spark plugs?

Thanks for the advice!

I have just done a change of engine oil about a couple of months ago and it was the same type, same brand as before. Although I have the BMS powerbox installed recently.

Not a 335i. Just 325i.
