Taller series tires?
I have a 2010 Z4 3.5I with the 296 wheels and will be going to non-RFTs. I am concerned about possible cracks. Is there any problem, other than speedometer accuracy, going with a taller series tire? Going from the 225/35R19 to 225/40R19 up front, and a similar move on the back gives me about 1/2 inch more sidewall.

With the inaccurate speedo reading you can also possibly run into rubbing issues during compression as well as ABS based issues with the taller tire. I would recommend sticking with the proper profile.
