Review Hankook iPike W409

I have not seen a review on here on these tires so I am going to give it a shot:

The car: 06 330i (first rwd I have ever owned)
Tires: Hankook iPike w409 225-45r17 all around with 500 miles on them

Previous car (for my base) 01 Jeep Cherokee with General Grabbers HTS

Now for the review:

Noise: Not bad, quieter than i thought, if they were my summer tires i would be pissed, but I am overall happy with them. 8/10

Dry traction: not the best wish it was a bit better but acceptable. 6/10

Wet traction: average traction, not bad. 8/10

Snow traction: very good, i am feel that i have a lot of say when i want to turn or stomp on the gas, I get very predictable response from them. 9/10

Ice traction: well its ice and well not expecting miracles from them, they do provide good traction. 8/10

Ride quality: They are non runflats and a "T" rated tire so i am not expecting a lot from them, They had a "jello" type of ride and I was thinking "man this is going to be a long 4 months on these tires", but after 500 miles i have either accepted them or they are giving me a better ride (i think a bit of both) 7/10 (would have been lower but i knew they were only "T" rated, non runflats, and had softer rubber).

Compared to my last vehicle (i know it is comparing apples to oranges) just in winter performance even with the jeep in 4wd the car takes off almost as fast, brakes better and turns better. In 2wd the jeep was useless.

All in all I am happy with the tires and would buy them again as long as i can get some decent miles out of them. For an aggressive snow tire and the price (paid 120 each). I would suggest them.

This is my first tire review, if I missed something post a response and i will give an answer

update

I now have 3500 miles on them. my review is still pretty accurate.

The noise has went up a bit, but not bad.

Tires are wearing ok.. It looks like i will get about 22k miles on them, They are rated for 40k but we will see.

I would drop the ice traction down a notch.

Snow traction is still very good.

I will buy these tires again.

BTW I live in detroit and we got some real good snow days so i was able to give them a good test.
