Is it worth getting the emergency cover with Warranty?

Sorry its another Warranty Q,but i basically just want to know if its worth paying the extra for the emergency cover in my situation.

I do around 7000 miles a year,mostly local driving
Maybe travel down south once a year

I will never travel outside UK with my car

So am i right in thinking that if i dont take it then i break down away from home i can still call them up and they will come out (but like a cheap AA version?) If it`s not repairable they will take it to the Nearest Dealer? and i would have to make my own way home from there?

If it was fully covered they would pay for me to get home? Would they take my car home to my local Dealer?

So for around £80 saving,would you leave it out?

Not sure they would transport the car to your local dealer if far from home, think its more about hotel accomodation while car is repaired and onward travel. as you say the basic cover does give recovery to local BMW dealer which i felt was good enough for me.

They will not recover you if you are within half a mile of home but beyond that they will get you to the nearest dealer.
