2011 BYO 335i coupe not available in titanium silver

Has anyone had any luck in building and ordering a new 335i coupe in titanium silver over the last few weeks.

This color option is not offered for the coupe on the Build Your Own section of bmwusa. I went in on Dec 30 to order, while I could still take advantage of several 2010 incentives, and my dealer told me they were concerned that if we tried to enter a combination thatwas not on teh current BYO site, it may hung up and then eventually get kicked back from Germany, as much as 60 days from now, losing holiday credit, current interest rates, etc.

I am stuck on the silver, so I placed a deposit and ordered the 328 coupe instead, but am having buyer's remorse.

Also, has anyone ever placed a BYO order, with deposit and letter of agreement, and then tried to alter the car. At this time it shows as "ordered placed" but has not yet been scheduled for production.

Thoughts?

You ordered a 328i over a 335i because you couldn't get silver. Damn I think I would've settled for space gray or something! You'll def regret that one.

Call your Center and swap it to a 335i coupe. I have a 335i coupe on order in silver for a client. I realize it doesn't show on the build your own but it is still on the order guide. If that Center won't help you - cancel and see someone competent.

yeah, I ordered a 335xi coupe..not all color combos was available when I selected the M Sport Package on the BMWUSA BYO site....but my CA saw this combo with m sport package in the ordering guide so he put it through. I ordered it beginning of January. When I called BMW NA this morning, my order is in the expected production completion state with a due date of Mon 1/24 (today). I hope it does not get hung up / canceled.

wow, unbelievable!! you went for the 328 because of that?!!...sounds to me like you found yourself a dealer who was just trying to get the quick sale, and was worried you were going to leave if you didnt place your order right then....

You should've asked them to look into it more

Listen to Ty Vil. He knows what he's talking about. Cancel the order and work with someone who's competent. I ordered a titanium silver 335i coupe in January. Still isn't in production yet. I currently have a titanium silver 335i coupe and want another one!
