clutch options for u.s. 325

what are my options for a 325, i have been thinking maybe i will keep this car for awhile, although i know it lacks power for todays standards. it is still very fun to drive with the suspension and short shifter, it feels like a drivers car except for the soft easy clutch. if i end up keeping it i would like a stronger clutch and maybe the performance steering wheel to complete the sport car feel.

Have you tried the Clutch Delay Valve(CDV) delete? It should give you a more positive feeling about the clutch but you are still limited by the Self Adjusting Clutch pressure plate which is more of a bother. There are a couple of options for clutch upgrades like ACT and Clutch Masters make a kit for your car.

From my civic days I can say with confidence that out of 3 different aftermarket clutch brands competition clutch was the best WITHOUT a doubt. It may not apply to BMW's but it blew the competition away on my honda.

UUC has a clutch and flywheel in development. It might not be on the website, but I have talked one of their techs about it. Give them a call, it might be done now. The M5 guys really like their stuff.
