nah this is a different sound. Its very distinct and very loud and def not the oil pump. thats a steady noise that goes away after 20s to 1-2mins. Im quite sure its just a wiring fault thats causing power loss to the proceed. I havnt heard anything since i returned my car to stock so when i reinstal it ill let you guys know.

Here's a sound clip. Never had this noise before.
I logged on to search for this noise and am updating this thread. I could only reproduce it once, since my car had not been driven today (cold start). When the car is warm, the 3 buzzes would repeat every ~2 secs for several iterations. Any1 have an idea what this is? Will go scan w/ BT tool right now, but I believe it's clean. Buzzing is at ~13s in video clip.

Ok just scanned w/ BT tool. There is a problem. I cleared the code, turned off my ignition and immediately heard the buzzing again.
The engine was NOT on. I simply had ignition on to run the BT scan. Since I just cleared the code, I ran another BT scan right after I heard the buzzing, and this error came up again. So the 2FBE code relates directly to the buzzing sound. So what is this? I'm on my 3rd HPFP so hope it's not another one Oh, when my last HPFP went bad, there was no buzzing sound. 2FBE: 2FBE Fuel pressure after motor stop Error will not cause a warning light Error is not currently present Test conditions have not been completed Short circuit or signal interruption Freeze Frame Information Event 1Odometer rail pressure 124,983.63 hPa PWM-Signal of mass control valve 10.94% Engine speed 0.00 rpm motor status 0.00 0-n

I had that exact same sound (its not normal), it turned out that that was due to a bad relay in the procede revI v3 harness. Shiv came out and replaced it himself and it went away...

I have heard intermittent buzzing from the engine bay at the track! No tune on the car. It only went away, after I turned car on again and shut off, never figured out what it was.

thanks good info, but this is different from what we're hearing. Reason I know is because I did exactly that yesterday and it's a different sound from what I posted in the clip.

when my car was having issues with a bad relay for the procede, it induced the buzzing noise exactly with what youve posted. I think the noise can be normal too for a stock car. It would just be the noise that the car makes when the fuel pressure relief valve is opening to release pressure

So is this normal or not?
I often hear this buzzing after engine shut down. Funny thing is I walked to my car this morning and it was doing this noise when the engine was cold!
