CF interior wrap finished *pics*

okay so going into this project, I had some doubts with the material. I was unsure how good everything would turn out and the difficulty of applying the material.

I ordered 2 yards of the matte black carbon fiber from PYSpeed.com. Shipping was pretty decent.

I used 3m super 77 spray adhesive, to apply the material. This is not self sticking vinyl, it is applied using some spray adhesive.

anyway here are the pics.. wrapping definitely becomes easier after time, and surprisingly I didnt mess up once!

GJ. Nice tight edges...

Now try to do the radio faceplate. THAT was a challenge.

The piece around the light switch was the real challenge. One small error and it interferes with the fog light buttons.

i started with the little air vent on the left side that took like an hour and a half, only because it was the first piece. but total it took around 6 or 7 hours thats including taking all the trim off, installing wrap, and putting all the trim back. I split it up into 2 days..

yes i had to take the trim off. pretty easy just go slow and dont break anything.. hardest part was the ashtray cover, only broke one clip

great job! im glad people keep doing these little things to show others how easy they can be. the best tool in the toolbox is patience. it took me about 4 hours to do mine, but i went slow, and im happy with the results.

you could do the black vinyl but that may be too much black.. or you can go for the silver vinyl which i think will look good. or mabye some white vinyl if your brave

*I dont know where they sell white vinyl but ive seen it*
