Seeing the Dealer Tuesday to finalize
I'm meeting with my CA to finalize everything, It's easier for me to make 2 trips than sit and finalize pricing the day of delivery.
So anyway, After reviewing everything I noticed a few things, because when I originally went there I was focused on a monthly payment not anything else. On my Invoice from the dealership I show a few weird things. Tax on Credit - $787.66 Other Fee - $75.00 Maco Fee - $300.00 In additional my MSRP is $45,350, their invoice is $42,260 Edmunds invoice is $41,760 (The maco fee is in their invoice) But there is an added 200 to the base invoice of the car. Also, I ordered a Step. So the car went up $950 but the step was $1,375, so thats $425...What should I do with this? I live in NY and the deposit I left is always refundable and I can walk away from the deal at any point. So to Sum up my entire deal. 36mo, 10k miles (MF .00125, credit isnt perfect to qualify for .00105) 3K down, payment is $600. Keep in mind of that 3K down 1.2K is covering negative equity from a trade in. I feel like I need to renegotiate the whole deal. Help!!!

Here is a copy of an old invoice, disregard the cap reduction and total drive off as they were old figures before i did something more creative with my trade in. So the cap reduction i'm unsure of but the drive off is 3K, and like I said monthly Payment is $600.00

Lots of moving parts to this deal. When you go in on Tuesday focus on the price of the car, the other variables start to move as a reflection if that.
You don't need the best deal in the world just the one that you feel is fair. Personally when I'm working a $50K deal I spend too much time splitting hairs on small items (unless they add up of course)

That was an old deal I posted as far as money down, I'm only coming out of pocket with 3K (covering 1200 in negative equity from a trade) so in reality I'm putting 1800 down.
I ordered the car Feb 2nd it's a 328 so no auto credits

Another thing, in their invoice is the added 200 for training and 300 for maco. So am I really using that as an invoice to start negotiating? I believe the invoice was 42,300 and they are selling it to me for 43,000. I don't know how much more room there is.
But I read that they aren't invoiced for the car until it reaches VDC in which the MSRP of the car dropped 425. So maybe I should ask for that in a reduction of selling price?

So I went to the dealer today. Here are my final numbers.
I changed it to the 27 month term as the payments were cheaper at 10k miles. Payment comes out to 582.88 a month. With 800 cap + first month payment + acquisition + misc fees fee down = $3000.00 drive off. Selling the car for me at $42,625. Sticker is $44,925.00 I think the deal is better now.
