Being transported to port of exit 10 days???

My 335 was completed on 4-17.. Since 4-18 the OC status has been "being transported to the port of exit".. So now it has been 10 days of that same message.. it seems to me from what I read that it should only take 2-3 days to make the journey to the port... I know sometimes that the OC does not update even after the car is at the port, and even sometimes after the car is on the boat.. I wonder if anyone else has been stuck with this message for this long, if this is normal, or what could be the problem with the OC message update system.. My CA has no clue, and 800 closed.

I also think it would be good if folks could post all the OC messages in order to know what to expect next.

thanks for any advice..

335i vert, ordered 3/30, in production 4-2, completed 4-17
stuck on being transpoted to the port ever since..

+1

To the original poster, forget about the Owner's Circle. No detail there. I think there are only 5 steps for the whole process on the website. Go with the 800#

"Your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit"

"Your vehicle is at the port of exit waiting for a shipping vessel"

"Your vehicle is in transit. Contact your BMW Center for more information"

Those are the last 3 messages you will hear on the 800#. After the last one, the 800# and OC are completely useless because they don't receive updates after that (well, ok, the OC tells you the car is at the VPC and at the dealership).

Get chummy with your CA. Take them a dozen donuts and a gallon of 1% milk twice a week in the morning on your way to work. That helps a LOT, and keeps them from getting pissed that you call them every other day...
