New Melbourne member introduction

Hi Guys,

Just picked up my 2007 E92 M3 on Saturday! I used to have an e46 M3 before this and I have to say that even though this car is softer, it is significantly faster!! After 5-5.5k rpm this thing just takes off...amazing engine and I can't really fault the car at all...

Anyway, the car has the 19" wheels, electric rear blind, extended leather, individual hi-fi on top of the standard equipment

Sorry for the crap Blackberry pic

- Jono

Hey guys, I noticed my car has yellow number plate lights and my friends 08 M3 has white ones...Is that meant to be right? Does anyone know a good place to get some OEM looking white bulbs??

I thought all M3s or E92s for that matter came with LED bulbs...

but not too worry, here is a link for some, a bit more expensive than what I thought it would be ($50 excl postage)

So did I actually, so I was a bit surprised to see that mine didn't have LED bulbs...hmm yeah I've actually seen that link before but I think $50 is quite a lot for a pair of LED bulbs...

Does anyone know the exact length of them, I will probably look for a pair on eBay LOL

$50 for LED bulbs is way too steep though, I agree. Try take one globe out then take it to autobarn/repco/jaycar whatever and see what they have that matches up.
Hopefully it won't give you the 'bulb out' warning light.

Amazing car Jono! The E9x M3 has always been part of my dream garage, good to see you've got the 6MT for purity as well

You should meet up with rossiM3 who also owns a sick AW M3 and you two can cruise Chapel street in your contrasting shades together.
