Looking to Lease a new 335i in Socal
Hi guys,
This is going to be my first BMW purchase and I'm very excited about it. I'm looking to Lease either a 335i Sedan or one of the remaining 330i Sedan. I'm leaning more towards the 335i right now since I fell in love with the engine when I took it for the limited test drive. I haven't test drove the 330i yet, which I will do this week hopefully. I dont know if I really want/need all the power especially with Socal traffic. I've read extensively through these forums about pricing and still learning. I went to Crevier on Sunday to look at the 335i but I didn't get a good "feel" from them. It seemed they thought they were better then you. They were really hesitant with MSD and didn't seem like they wanted to go down from MSRP much. I have some questions that hopefully some of you guys can answer. 1. What's a reasonable Lease rate for 335i Sedan with Steptronics w/paddle, Premium, & Sport for 36months and 15k miles. MSRP is $44,820 while Invoice is $41,285. I would most likely do 7 MSD. 2. What's been everybody's experience with taking your car in for service at a different dealership then the one you bought it at? Have they been pretty helpful or are they cold since you didn't buy from them? Did they give you a loaner car even though you didn't buy from them? 3. I saw an ad in the LA Times paper for Valencia BMW with a deal for the 335i Sedan with Auto and Premium for 36month $500/mo with 10k miles/yr and .20c/mile after that. Drive off is $4k. Even thought the ad says .20c/mile, can't you buy more miles for .16c/mile before the lease is up or is it some special where it Has to be .20c/mile? Even at .20c/mile, if I were to pay for 15,000 extra miles, the total monthly payment would be $583/mo which doesn't seem like a bad deal? I doubt I can add MSD to this deal to make it even cheaper? I will try to get the details on the program from the dealership. I'm sure I'll come up with some more questions as I get further along in the negotiations. Thanks a lot for all the help. |

1. You should be able to get ~1000 or so over invoice in SoCal on a 335i [b]Sedan. Look up BMW's current money factor and see if you can get that or close. I've never understood putting money into 7 MSDs. How much are you actually saving for putting all that money in the bank?
2. Try Tina Swistak @ Sterling BMW. They do provide loaners and she has excellent customer service (I just saw her today). I am getting my 335i Coupe there via European Delivery. She is the Internet Sales Manager. You can tell her John T. referred you. This thread might be helpful: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...light=sterling I would personally choose a dealership with the right pricing close to me with a known good service dept.. |

I say PM Will@longbeachbmw and see what he can do for you. Hes a forum sponsor and has been extremely helpful and easy to deal with. A LOT of members on this forum can vouch for him. He gave me the best price out of all the dealerships in So Cal (new century, crevier, irvine, assael, etc.)

Also, I actually like Crevier. Everyone I've encountered there has been more than helpful and my service advisor, Robert, Is excellent. But They don't give you a loaner if you didn't buy from them. My advice to you, Shop around. . . Alot. All The Dealerships are in constant competition with eachother and will drop their price's just to get a sale and keep another dealer from getting your bussiness. They're at least 8 BMW dealerships in the Orange County Area. . . Crevier, Sterling, Long Beach, McKenna, Irvine, Shelly, South Bay and Nick Alexander Imports All Within 15 miles Of OC. So what i would do is find the Lowest price a dealer will offer, go to the dealer thats nearest you and try to make them match it. Just for convenience. You don't want to be driving all far out of the way ever time you need service. Especially with a lease. But Let Us Know how this goes. . . My affect who i lease with at the end of my term. |

I got mine from Tina about 3 weeks ago. She was great I believe she's the Fleet manager... You can say Stan referred you. I returned my '04 330ci 4 months early, miles over and needing tires... and she still gave me a great deal.

Hmm if you special order a stripped 335 you can get the price down to around $39,000, and a 3 year lease/12k miles would be around $480/mo with $1,300 down + first month payment if you have great credit (> 720). The base car is pretty nice already, you don't need Dakota or the sport package.

Do you consider yourself having a bigger or smaller type of frame? The Sport seats have side bolsters that support spirited driving more IMO.

But Realstically, If Your Going to Be Forking Out 41k+ . . . Shouldn't You Should Splurge a Few Grand More And Go Fully Loaded? If You're Drving A Luxury Sports Car You Should Be Driving In Comfort and Luxury.

For example, cold weather package. I live in Southern California! I didn't buy the package but I bought the heated seats (which I don't REALLY need, they are just nice). |
